wow manure too

Your avatar is what my face probably looked like when watching the video.

I built skid shoes for my rear blade last year. I also made a set for my brother too.
With all the material(except for the 1/4 inch steel I used for the skids themselves), I had under $30.00 per pair of material invested in each set. The sets I made were two skid shoe assemblies. I've seen similar sets sell for close to $200.00
Of course my labor was free:) but I built two extra sets and might sell them later.

The downside is they have to be welded to the blade as built. Not a big deal and can be installed with that method in less than an hour if you have a good welder.
I can also provide a material list for what I used so you can build your own.

Looks like a simple solution. To make the domed feet did you put it in a press or just beat it into submission?

Last couple winters I've been using this,

BUT, I do have a few "backup's", including this one,

I love the blower on my Grasshopper! It really kicksazz...

SR

My neighbor across the road picked up a used blower and heated cab for his grass hopper 2 years ago. He loves using it so much that most of the time he does my driveway and 3 other neighbors. I dont think i could blow a single track from my barn to driveway in the time it takes him to do my 340' driveway.

We got about 3" one Saturday night a few weeks ago i was getting ready to go get either my old blower or tractor out when i realized he beat me to it. Needless to say sent him a text message thanking him as the wind looked to be blowing about 15-20 mph

Now i just make sure to tell himto leave any significant snow over 7 or 8" as i like to play too.
