We're supposed to get somewhere between 12" and 18" in the next 24 hrs but I doubt it. The weatherman never gets it right around here. Jeez, hope I didn't jinx myself. I've already spent way too much time in the last few days dealing with snow. I want to get back to the shop and play with something that's not white.

On the west coast you need a bigger snow blower as here in the east coast we need a better set of chain!

And here in the midwest it just blows through!

And here in the upper midwest, we're feeling like the Ugly Stepsister, that didn't even get an invite to the ball this year.

Looks like we're getting a storm tomorrow. One site says 6" to 12", another says 3" to 6". We are pretty close to the change line so we'll see.
Just a bit further east from you, they're saying 15 to 20cm (roughly 6 to 8 inches) starting this afternoon.

Might be followed by an hour or so of ice pellets/freezing rain depending on where the line goes through.

It's a mix right now here. I plowed 4 or 5 inches around 2pm, light and fluffy so easy.. We'll see if we hit the 6" mark.

i took off the chains and touch up painted the plow and blower. i left the hydraulic pack on just in case the whether pattern changes, but since its 45 today....i dont see that happening. snow is nearly all gone. it was a light snow year to say the least.

We had about 5.5", but snow turned to rain and packed it all into a tight, heavy 3.5". I used my '67 Economy Power King with its 42" Haban single stage blower to clear it all. More maneuverable than my MF35 with loader/6' blower.

The PK did a great job. It even blew 5" of slushy water mix down near the mailbox. Unfortunately, this machine is only 12hp, so going slowly is key but it does the job. Might be better off to mount the plow...

Picture is after I rebuilt the mule drive for the blower and mounted it to the machine.

Well the "3 to 6 inch forecast" you saw was certainly wrong! More than 10" so far here I think. Some good seat time.
