Thank you all.
As far as reward, that is EXACTlY what the wife was thinking on doing, and it was me that thought that it probably would not go anywhere... after all, no witnesses, no bullets (passed through dogs), be his word against whom ever turned him in?
I just got home after having dinner with her and picking up the pics of the boulders I placed (probably post them tomorrow) and told her of this gracious idea... SHE then turned around and said "Why dont you tell them about the local dog shelter (that burned down) and their funding drive to finish building the new one"... I said hmm... maybe a Wiggles and Daisy memorial?
Dang, I knew there was some reason I married this woman /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif .. far be it that I'm worthy of having someone like her!
That was the end of the discussion and I know nothing beyond that comment from her. personally, I'm second thought'ish on accepting any funds from anyone no matter the heartfelt intent, because let's face it, we're still all just faces in the crowd and I don't want even the smallest possiblity of any view of impropriety.
If anyone really cares to make a donation to the animal shelter on behalf of Wiggles & Daisy, not only would it be going to a good cause, (thinking...)... well, I guess in addition to that, it would ge going to a good cause!
I'm not requesting that, NOR do I expect anyone to do anything like that.
That said, if someone wants to, let me know and I'll post their name/address here (if considered appropriate) and let whomever deal directly with them, rather than any $$ going through me.
ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
if anyone wants to donate to my "Rock Fund" (you'll understand when you see the next rounds of pictures...) /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I talked to the TVA guy today and we spoke about him hiring me (offically) to cut a trench. I told him if we cut 1 trench they'll go around it to get to their "racetrack". I said, why not go in the woods, and make SEVERAL trenches ON their racetrack, rendering it useless? (the 'racetrack" is a road cut into side of hill, so one side goes steeply to lake and other side is VERY high).
Yes, I'm still thinking on more creative things I can (legally) do. Just left a neighbors home who did'nt know about this, mentioned to him I am looking into putting a video camera out to monitor the road. then it dawned on me, that if I paid for it, HE might consider putting one out too, hmm..then I have another neighbor in between this one and myself... we coudl monitor a large part of the road (until they get past 2nd house) then it's 1/4 mile of woods and meyham. Still though, it's a possible starting point.
