Re: Pictures & Specs on new TND-A & TNS-A UK Versi

What year is your TN? The mid mount couplings was a change they put into the TN's this summer. The original TN's went out of the back with straight connectors, then they switched to angled connectors out the back to reduce the stress on the hoses. But they always went out the back till this year, unless the dealer set it up differently somehow.

I never noticed any of those things like you described. I do know the metal is very strong on the tractor and will take a lot of limbs and other abuse. Also, the steps are very secure and will hold up to a lot (which is something I have never been happy with on the 1920). I have hooked vines with the steps and ripped off the tops of trees without hurting the steps any. Also, I have had the steps buried in mud and had to be pulled out and the steps held up fine to that as well. So unless they changed something recently, I would not be worried about them. I think I might have to go visit my dealer and see if they did change anything /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I must say I am a little disappointed in those pictures of the "UK" tractors /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. They may be blue and white, but I can not find the words "University of Kentucky", nor is the Wildcat emblem anywhere to be found /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. My conclusion is that these tractors are not "officially licensed" by the University of Kentucky and should be considered "grey market" tractors. GO CATS /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif!!!

If you can find a TN55 that has 4WD, you can probably get a great deal on it. They've been discontinued and the prices are very good on them. Best of all, with just the turn of a screw on the fuel pump you can turn your TN55 into a TN65. They share the exact same engine and the only thing holding the power back on a TN55 is a minor adjustment on the pump. It's a great way to get a TN65 cheap...

I ordered a standard TN65. I don't think the other models were even available when I put the order in.

Re: Pictures & Specs on new TND-A & TNS-A UK Versi

I just came back from my dealers and I think you might have been looking at the TT 55. They look similar and I agree, the steps do look like an afterthought. That tractor is more just a makeover and NH tried to update the 3010 to look like the rest of the lineup and I guess the steps are one of the casualties to make the 3010 look better. Didn't look at the sheet metal much but the TT is a economy tractor so it wouldn't surprise me if the metal was a tad thinner. They also have the big bulges at the back of the rear fenders which would account for the square look you talked about.

As for the TN-A, my dealer told me the TN-A's that are at dealers lots as well as the TC-A's are not for sale. They are there to show customers what the tractors will look like for next year. Might make some people order tractors early if they want the old body style. The TN-A's are not going to start shipping till spring. I don't know when the regular TN's will cease production if they haven't already. Hopefully Spencer will join in and help out some.

Thanks for letting us know. Do you have any TN-A's on your lot yet?

Even being able to sell the red ones(they don't look the same) I still think those tractors look like something out of the Caddillac literature.
