Peter, forgot, the camera is an Olympus, D450, about three years old, set on lowest resolution, I didn't leave the headlights on, that's just the flash, it's almost dark here.

I like the upgrades you did. What is the toolbox and how did you attach it? When we get ready to get our new (read my) new toy this fall I was considering having the dealer istall a set of rear mounted lights. I am not too electically inclined and won't have much time to fiddle with it out of gate.

What did you use for your lights?

michael, the toolbox is plastic from Sears, less than five bucks. the bottom of the box is quite heavy so i drilled carefully in the sheetmetal, there's wires under there, and used heavy pop rivets to hold it on. the lights are about ten bucks apiece at TSC and the BX has a pigtail under the seat that is hot when the ignition switch is on, i tapped in there and run it to the switch, from there to the lights, i grounded the lights at the mounting point on the ROPS. hope that helps.

Well, i've been at it again, just quit for the evening, a couple more brackets and a plate between the blade and the mount, then the orange paint.
got the balde at Quality farm store that is going out of business, light weight, was originally $299.99, got it for $95.32 tax included. thought i could afford to play with it a little.

Nice smooth job and thats a good width for 45 degree plowing snow.
I take it the plow for the front??..and if so do you plan on adding springs plus going to and adjustment shoes,also are you going to connect your middle piston?

Great pics! your shop looks like mine -minus the tractor-but i don't need the overhead insulation. Looks like you'd rather build it than buy it, gotta love it.

FATCAT, Milkman's tractor is a Kubota BX. You can click on the poster's name and it will reveal information and other details the poster has put in his/her TBN profile.
