Lots of debate on this issue. Q/A is much easier to change attachments with, that is why it was developed. It does move your attachment out a few inches from where a pin on attachment would go. This can affect breakout force, etc.
I would like to see where the TBN family is related to this choice. This is only for what you have, not what you want or wish for. Some tractor owners have a bucket and a 3PT device and that is it. Others have a shed full of attachments for front and rear. So....................
Where are you on this? I will go first, Pin on.

I have Pin On but wish I had Q/A. So there is 2 votes. :licking:

With my implements (and being a residential owner, I probably have all I'll ever need), the QA bucket is my preference as I can easily remove the bucket when I mow (dropping off a couple hundred pounds in the process and less likely to snag or hit something when mowing). I don't move a lot of material and what I did move was moved with a QA bucket (so no change there). BTW, most times the loader is off in it's entirety during the mowing season, so my previous comments refer to those times the loader is on and I want to mow.
As far as the 3PH, I've been using Pat's Easy Change for the last 5 years and like it a lot. I'm getting a Quick Hitch for my latest tractor as I'm getting a bit old for manually rigging implements.

My JD has a QA setup-it's standard on all their loaders, it was part of my decision to buy green. I aslo use the JD iMatch QH for all my 3PH implements.

When I bought my NH TC45D in 2001, there was no QA bucket available, even though they had it in their catalogs. I bought a pin-on bucket and liked it, but always wanted the QA adapter. When NH finally started selling the skid-steer QA adapter, I bought a plate for my tractor ($365 at that time) and a new 5' bucket to go along with my 6' bucket I already had. I wanted the 5' bucket for better digging. I have a toothbar on my 6' bucket that I adapted for QA. The 5' bucket has a smooth cutting edge and I use it also for my chain-on forks. I've also added a rock bucket with grapple, a bale spear, and a 3PH adapter. Because I frequently change between my two buckets and my rock bucket/grapple, there is no other feature of my tractor that has added as much to my productivity as the QA adapter. I would never buy another tractor without one.

I've had both, but put my vote solidly into the QA adapter side of this survey.

My Power Trac only has a QA mode. I often change attachments several times during a given project. It takes between 10 seconds and a minute (if there are hoses involved). This is a wonderful feature.

I added a SSQA to my Kubota, after using it with the original pin on bucket. It was by far the single best modification I've made to my tractor. Being able to change from bucket to forks (or whatever) in seconds is incredibly handy. And popping the bucket off to mow is great.

I feel I should add that some of the SSQAs do not move the bucket out farther than stock...... or not enough to notice the difference. There may be a small weight penalty, but little or no loss in breakout force.

All of my equipment has pin-on buckets. Only one where it currently can matter is the Satoh since I have three FEL attachments. If I didn't have a loader on my 855, I'd be wishing for QA on the Satoh since many projects involve both the bucket and the grapple.

Next tractor with a FEL will have QA.

I also vote for skid steer type q/a. I had it added via ATI adapter when I owned my B3030 and I purchased the factory Kubota option on my current GL3240. I often switch between the forks and bucket as it only takes a minute depending on the job(s) I am doing.
