pinched hydraulic line attaching BX23 backhoe

Had the same thing happen to my BX23. I pinched the hose between the PTO shield and support. Fortunately I was able to unbolt and remove the top and side part of the PTO sheild. I was able to do this with the backhoe attached. This freed up the hose and did not damage it.

Well the important thing is that you are not injured, so yes, lights are good but daylight is best. Imagine being caught, unable to free yourself, screaming for help, and no one can help because you can't be heard over the engine roar and the TV. I must admit to doing questionable things by myself but also to sometimes having the missus watch me for the few minutes it takes to do something that involves risk.
Be safe, be careful.
All the best,
Martin

Oh, and BTW, the dealer probably replaced the hose and then moved the backhoe.

All the best,
Martin
