You brought up a very important safty, and legal issue...
The GCVWR. Do not overload your little wagon!
They (the Texas D.P.S. )are sure clamping down on all those 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton and 1 ton pickups draging around 10 and 20 thousand pounds of stuff.

I think all issues on the hitch have been covered. Why is this trailer going so cheap? Better check it out good. Brakes, springs, bushings, bearing and tires can add up.

Some states allow you to tag your 3/4 and 1 ton vehicles pretty high.

Our service trucks are f450 super duties.. we can tag them up to 24k legally. May exceed the manf' specs.. but that just kills your warranty...

Brakes, brakes, check the brakes on the trailer. Many trailers of that size have air brakes which requires the truck to have air brakes as well. So are they air, electric, or hydraulic surge brakes. You'll need brakes on a trailer with that capacity because the trailer itself will be very heavy. Heck my lighter duty 18' car hauler is 1,800 lbs. Even though I have a Super Duty F350, brakes are a necessity on a trailer that size even with my truck.
