How is that? We are not talking about thread size here...

Yikes! Had to go look again. I had thought there was just a change in thread size but with the same body of coupler. I did not realize they changed body size with each different thread size. You are correct with that series, a change in thread size (3/8 to 1/2) also changes body size.

Kenny said it, and I will clarify. Most quick couplers come in more than one size. The shape and design will be the same, but the dimensions are different.

You cannot connect a 3/8" male coupler to a 1/2" female or vice versa. It just will not fit.

If the coupler does not fit, you must aquit!

And get yourself another coupler.
