You could build a Carry All bed !;)
wow, nice job. Looks like something Power-Trac should sell as a PT-180 option.

If you replace the gas tank with a flatter rectangular tank, you could even get rid of the gas tank bulge.

OK I have a plan for my toolbox. I'll mount it on the 'passenger' side of the 422 just behind the rear wheel. I tend to like to weld up things so I'll build a frame for the box to sit in and bolt it to the side of the tub using one of the hinge bolts on the engine cover and drilling one other hole. It will be handy, out of the way, not on the engine cover, and not impeding air flow. Basically it is opposite the muffler. I'll post some pictures once I get it pulled together. You guys have any thoughts on this plan?

I think this is pretty good place. The only issue (probably minor) is that it could get torn off when driving near a tree of whatever.

If I can get it to post here is a picture of my 422 with a sort of tool box I built to carry mostly my chain saw, sorry my pt is a bit on the muddy side right now.

Well I finally had some time to get my tool box mounted and take it for a test run. It works just fine. I just used some self tapping screws and screwed the box to the metal frame I welded up. Oh yes, I also had some time to cobble together a major oversight in the design of the 422, a beverage holder.

Nice job! Looks like you're getting some quality PT time in also, based on the mud... :D

How're you liking the PT, now that the tram problems are solved?

I'm liking PT just fine. It works like I expected and in-spite of the pump problems I have had I find Terry very helpful. I understood from the start I would have to do the maintenance but I like that.
