im not standing up for them just saying i am pleased. I know the years of these going into it so i really wasent asking that. The raditor i admit should have been caught, but the injector wasnt leaking at the time of the sale i opened the hood and wathced it running and did not see the fuel, this is a very slow leak and i noticed it after several hours of running it. I just am pointing out things. Your opinion is noted and we all appreciate others even if they differ. These are the reasons that we can help others over the internet with very few pics of things is that each person has their own experience and can come up with ideas on a problem. These are great little tractors and am glad to have found this place.

Allprotractor was who i was thinking of in Ga, im from SC so i decided to stay in state. I had considered you as i had seen your ads in GON for yrs. Thanks will keep you in mind if and when i need a new one or parts etc.

Clemsonfor, I am located near Rock Hill, SC. I wish you well with your purchase and not trying to be a jerk about them, but I decided not to buy anything from Vietnam, yes there are plenty of owners that have gotten years of service from them, but it seems these machines have a high rate of severe mechanical failure just shortly after "reconditioning". If they are so close to new why only warrant it for 90 days, the warranty says it all. Rinehart swears by his machines, but if he is so confident in them why only back a "NEW" yanmar 90 days or claim they are 1990's models. That in itself made the decision for me.

Now on the flipside, my yanmar is rusted, tires were dry rot, etc.. but it was not in bad enough shape to warrant a "rebuilt/reconditioning". No Diesel tractor needs a rebuild (if taken care of) with 1000-2000 hours on it. Those machines sent to Vietnam are grade C/D tractors. (meaning they need major engine work or are considered scrap)

I contacted numerous Japanese yards when i was looking into importing and like I said, the best one's are loyal to the frequent buyers and the best "A" grade tractors will be pulled for them, example, Fredrick's Importing, they get the best because they order many containers at a time and have a face to face relationship with the exporters.

im outside lancaster SC. at least my farm is. I never asked the years of them cause i knew they were from the 70's did not know he was saying they were 90's models, you can look at the technology and see that. I have heard that about VN tractors i took the plunge and hope i get years of service out of it. I figured the warrenty is for 90 days b/c many engine rebuilders in the auto industry will warrent 90 days some 1 year. I agree no deisel tractor needs a rebuld after even 4000 hrs.

How big a farm you have?

its not opperational, was when my g-parents were younger, but anyway its 119 acres. My dad is the owner but i guess you could call me the care taker of it. I look after it and hunt it with my cousin. Im 27, wanted to point that out as it reads as if in like 16 or something. But we just deer and turkey hunt it, i maintain the fields and roads as dad is uninterested in those things.
