I posted earlier this month asking if anyone has or has access to plans to build a quick attach to fit my Massey 165. I have 4 front attachments and do not use them to thier full potential because they are a pain to change. Can anyone help me?:) Don from Canada

Fordman, sorry you're not getting any hits on your request for plans. I have read some threads where guys have built their own QA's on their home built FELs. I don't recall which thread but there were some pretty good close up pictures in some posts.

You might also stop by a dealer and take some close up pictures and some measurements. Best wishes in your pursuit.

I can't help you with the loader end of the quicktach system and I don't have plans per se for a quichtach plate but I did copy some hopefully helpful photos from an ebay auction for a universal Bobcat style plate that can be welded to a bucket forks etc. It gives dimensions, some cad pics and an actual plate. Hope this helps.

Fordman,

While I have seen many tractors with quick attach buckets on front end loaders, I don't believe that they are interchangeable with another brand.

I would suggest as previously mentioned, looking at the quick mount for a skid steer. Almost all manufacturers have standardized in this market for interchangeability.

Many manufactures and dealers have pre-made adapter plates.

I have been considering the same thought on my 1970 ford 4000 with a Westendorf loader.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I went on Westendorf website and they have a cool q/a that uses angle iron V for mating, they have a vidio that looks good. Might try to fab something off thier vidio. I am not worryed about being compatable as I have 4 attachments now to convert. Also is there a reason most of the q/a on tractor end use a second set of links on boom and tilt. Most show 4 pins per side instead of 2??:)
