Plant ID Needed

Anyone able to ID this plant? It dies back every year, located in a dry area, never noticed it blooming and, gets about 3 hours of sun daily. Comes out when it gets hot! Zone 7 North GA. Thanks!

Seriously though it looks like clover to me. We have something here that looks like that, it just appeared a year or so ago.

This is growing in shade under cedar trees.
S. Central Va.

I call that an "Ivy".....some kind....don't know which one.....it is harmless and happy growing under the cedars.

This one looks like what we call "creeping charlie", especially if it has little purple flowers.

In the mint family, they can pretty much take over. But they also shade out everything else and don't get very tall, so work pretty well as ground cover as long as you aren't trying to grow something else there.
