Planter plates

Does anyone know how to cross reference Lustrian brand plate numbers with John Deere plate numbers? What I am looking for is a medium flat 24 cell and a medium round 24 cell plate.

Do you know which plates you need-the actual number. I think there are several options for med flat corn, etc. Lincoln ag products can hook you up or i have several plates available if you know which numbers you would like.

Got my handy-dandy Lustran-to-cast iron Deere plate conversion chart right here in front of me! (Downloaded several years ago from Lincoln AG's site)

Medium flat, in Deere cast iron is H950B, converted to Lustran plastic, B8-24X. Medium round, in Deere cast iron is B10853H, converted to Lustran plastic, B1-24X.

If you need plates, PM me, I've got boxes and boxes of them. Most likely have those in Lustran.

Sir, you have indicated that you have boxes of lustran seed plates . I recently purchased a used 2 row John Deere corn planter. After questioning the local John Deere dealership it was determined that the planter is a 24b model date of unit undeterminable . I have photo's if necessary . The planter presently has a B1-16X Lustran corn plate installed . I would like to aquire a plate for sweet corn also. My research so far has led me to look for a B11-16 or something in the B11-24 cell plate. It would also help if I knew what the numbers on the plates mean . I have ordered a owners manual perhaps that may assist me, but any information you provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Randy

There was a book on e-bay (may still be)that you could buy that cross referenced john deere plates with lustran. I would be lost with out it.
