Hi all,

I posted my first question in the buying section looking for a good dealer in my area (I guess not many people in SE Iowa).

Well, now for a more general question. For those that are or hvae used their Centry or Branson Tractor (I'm looking at the 3040 or 3045) what row spacing you using? I've not had an up close look at the these tractors yet but it doesn't look like wheels are adjustable.

Also wonder how many are bailing small bailes with a wagon in tow for stacking. Is the 40-45hp enough? I'm guessing it should be. How about weight for pulling up hill or holding it's ground while going down hill?

Thanks much
Carl

I have a century 3045. The tread settings are adj 52in to 60 in with r-4,s. I haven't adj mine. Yes I am sure that you can handle baling and pulling a load of bales. It weights in at 3890lbs and I have my tires loaded so there is another 900lbs and the loader is another 1200 so you have enough wt so that the load woun't push you around. I really love mine. I haven't done any haying but used to years ago so I know what you are looking for.Go for the century you won't be sorry.
