a 2003 Massey Ferguson GC2300 with an Iseki diesel pumping 18.7 PTO hp @ 2600 RPM …

or a 2003 Kubota BX2200 with a Kubota diesel putting out 16.7 PTO hp @ 3200 RPM…?

Like I said "That depends on usage. "
They'd both last me a VERY long time at my average of 50-60 hours a year. Thus my original statement that these are 20 - 60 year machines and I need components that will hold up on the long haul. If I REALLY wanted to stir things up /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I'd say the Kubota would last longer because the Massey doesn't have a rear hydro dip stick and I KNOW I'd be too lazy to get a wrench out and check it nearly as often as I'd pull the stick on the BX.

If they would paint the plastic, would that protect it from UV? Perhaps...
