- New Holland tn75va
I am trying to inspect and possibly replace the steering valve on a New Holland TN75VA. There are multiple options for this part for this model tractor. I have to remove the platform/deck in order to get to the steering valve. I am having a hard time getting the deck off of the tractor, transmission, frame. I have disconnected the break lines, the hydraulic lines for the steering, the controls for the rear hydraulics, the gear and range shift levers, the wiring harness, the battery and the battery deck. I have removed everything that I can see that may attach the deck to the tractor or impede the deck from lifting off of the tractor.
My problem is that I can't find any information that is helpful to me about how this deck is attached. I have contacted New Holland for parts breakdowns and that didn't help at all. There is not much information in the breakdown. I am able to raise the deck using a fork lift and seems as though it is loose. But when it gets about 5" off of the tractor the whole tractor starts to lift off the ground. With the design of the deck I can't see what I may still be attached to or bound up on
Has anyone ever run into a similar issue? Am I possibly lifting unevenly and that is causing a bind? I've been on this project for a multiple hours and I needed this tractor to be working last week.
