Killer B, I heard they got 10"-12" in G.R. How'd you make out? I am sure you had plenty of fun with your blower!
bluecon1, nice setup! Looks like your ready for a real battle with mother nature!
jam2004, at first I tried with the blade facing backwards and driving frontwards, but it was kind of frozen to the asphalt, so it didn't work too good. I turned it back around and it worked much better. I have horsemat on my blade and it is holding up nicely. I also used the loader to back drag away from the garage and to clean up the piles from the rear blade. Also needed the FEL to scrape up where it was really frozen down.
Astor, If I lived where you did, I would get a blower for sure! Hard to justify it down here near Detroit. We got quite a bit last year, but usually not more than 6-8 inches at a time.
I would love to have the front mounted blade, but it is $1600 from my dealer. Also hard to justify that when the loader works really well combined with the rear blade. I did notice that I am sharpening up my bucket quite a bit. (I was cleaning the whole cul-de-sac for fun) I'll have to keep an eye on that and maybe come up with something to keep it from wearing
