And this is from the Operator's manual:

Here is the block below the right side floorboard where the FEL lines attach.
The PB line is the one on the left w/ the red tape:

Well, I went to 3 different dealers on my way home from Ohio today. I talked to workers [after waiting my turn] at the first 2 places [both seemed like Brand New Dealers, new to dealing, nothing used, all tractors and implements sparkly clean.....]
They were not very hellpful, but in their defense, I looked at several tractors before seeking their help, and practicly all of them had different hyd. set-up's.
BUT, the 3rd dealer I stopped at had a new MX5100 w/ a BH90 mounted and plummed sitting on the lot. And low and behold, it was just as I had suspected in my 1st post in this thread:
The line above [w/ red tape] is removed, and extended to the "IN" on the BH.
[they actually used 1 long line from the loader pb port], and the "OUT" from the BH connects to this same [only fitting removed] fitting, just a loop.

I didn't even have to go in, and wait my turn to speak!

Eureka!

What was done on my L3130 with a Bradco 408 backhoe was the power beyond line was extended to the back and a hose was run from where the power beyond connected also to the back to make a loop. Another line was added and teeded into the tank port on the valve body under the foot rest. So to hook up the hoe you disconnect the loop and leave the one line hanging and connect to the power beyond feed from loader and the tank return line. The reason they did that is the power beyond line form the loader feeeds the 3 point hydraulics and that adds back preassure to the valves on the backhoe where a connection to the tank directly stops that and also disables the 3point lift so it is not accidently used. With this combination you may also add extra valves with power beyond to the rear of the tractor for other uses with no problems.

Thx for the post subzero, but I only have 2 connections on my Woods BH9000 backhoe attachment. "IN" and "OUT".

If someone could post up a picture or drawing to reflect that, it would be great!
thx,
John

The pictures are correct. You must hook the power beyond to the inlet connection in the drawing to make the three point lift work. You disconnect the jumper hose and connect the inlet and tank ports to the backhoe to make it work. Most hoes I have seen do not have the power beyond hose and you really do not need it because you do not want the three point arms lifting with the hoe on anyway.

David,

Is this just because the arms may hit the hydraulic lines going to the hoe, or is
there another reason that the arms should not be lifted when the hoe is on?

You do not want the arms lifting and hitting the backhoe, most valves do not like the resricted flow going thru the 3 point valving and can slow things down and it also makes things simpler as most hoes do not have the power beyond circuit to feed the three point at the same time.

I had tto remove my 3pt. arms to install the rear subframe mount:
