Well, if you really must know what I bought, I'll definitely tell ya. I bought the Mitsubishi 3501 a couple weeks ago from Ferguson Tractor in Emporia, VA. Reggie there was just great to deal with and quite helpful. He provided some invaluable information and gave my hubbie a "tractor for dummies" lesson when my hubbie came to pick it up. Definitely a neat guy.

The tractor wasn't totally reconditioned like I've seen on other sites but came with it's blemishes but in impeccable working condition. For us, the price and quality were right.

I got to operate the tractor last week for the first time (we live in St. Louis and the tractor is in WV) and it ran great. I brush hogged (Howse 5 ft.) some 30+ acres that hadn't been cut in a year. The majority of our land in on a hill (388 ft. elevation change in about 6/10 of a mile) with a wooded/brushy meadow on top. The tractor brush hogged it's way up an old logging road without any trouble. My dad and brothers are wanting to put a food plot in so I imagine much will be done when I get back (I'm in St. Louis). I moved several large tree trunks, a pile of gravel, and a pile of dirt with the loader.

I recently sold my 5 speed Honda Civic (since I got a Suburban) and was sorely missing driving something with a clutch. This definitely satisfied that need.

The MT 3501 gets two thumbs up for being a work horse and four thumbs up for being great fun! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And I'm glad you asked!

Good luck with it. I'm very pleased with my Iseki. These Jap tractors just keep going and going and going....

We had a guy stop by while we were in WV and just raved over the tractor. Of course, we are thrilled with it anyhow.

Hey, I see you apparently like bluegrass. I've got several CD's from various artists ie. Rick Skaggs, Dolly's collection, Bela Fleck, etc. Any recommendations that a bluegrass lover just can't live without?

Thanks!

Hey, I've got a few of your suggested ie. Ralph Stanley, Rhonda Vincent, and Blue Highway. I'll have to check into the others. BTW, I didn't note any CD's by your group. Is it time to record one?

My grandfather plays bluegrass gospel quite loudly (he's 84 and hard of hearing). When I visited them in Waynesville, NC a few weeks ago, I realized where my love of the music came from. He had cranked the Inspirations and the Kingsmen way up when he was down in the basement. I had to run out and get a couple of their CDs.

Now, let me know when you cut that CD! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You may be able to get rops info from Mitsubishi's website. They had a program for older tractors. I don't have the url, but you'll need to get the factory's site.
