Please help me on a antique gas stove!!

I recently purchased an old "Spark" gas cook stove for my old ranch . I am completely rebuilding it . Sometime in the past 80 years or so ,someone has worked on the pilot burner and reassembled it wrong . /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Does anyone have a old gas cook stove with a center pilot light for the burners ,that I could ask some questions of . I am also missing 3 flash tudes . I would love to get my hands on a old assembly manial on antique gas stoves and would be happy to buy a copy . So come on guy's!!! Someone must have a old gas stove in their kitchen that can help me on some answers . /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif There is very little information avalible on the internet /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Ask the questions and we'll see what we can do.
I don't have a manual for an 'old' gas stove but am 'old' myself so may be able to help. Not sure how a pilot burner can be assembled wrong, but some were just a mechanical adjustment, whereas others included a tube that would expand and open (or keep open) the gas valve to the pilot.
A picture would help of what you have, and of what you suspect is wrongly assembled.

Not an antique (well, getting there, I suppose), but my 1988 motor home has a Magic Chef stove that has a center pilot light. This one is entirely manual -- there is a shutoff valve to turn it off when traveling; open the valve and light the pilot with a match, and it's available to light the stove burners. From my feeble memory, that's the way the old gas stoves worked, also -- nothing automatic. I'll watch for your pictures, and compare it to what I have, and see if I can help.
