I think that Ted should get a John Deere, after all it is common knowledge that if Jesus were alive today, he would own a John Deere. If Ted can't afford a John Deere, then a well apportioned Kubota would do. I would be concerned that anything else would damage the EA brand, and cause a complete breakdown of US infrastructure.

To say that I'm taken aback with this rather heinous bit of news would be an under statement. I would not have believed it, but you provide very compelling proof.

His spec said a well built hitch. He didn't say cat 1 or cat 2. I'm using cat 1 implements and it's just a matter of a bushing. It has a adjustable end links and easy to use side links. I know it's well built because I haven't torn it up yet.
I said or at least I think I did "use one with an American name". I realize where tractors come from. My manual says it has a Shabaru engine it and the tag on the nomenclature plate says it was made in Italy. And I didn't read that on the internet. What exactly is an ISM motor.
I guess I should be ashamed of buying a cheap piece of American named crap.

Sadly, in the compact category, there just aren't any choices for a truly USA made tractor. I think JD may make the strongest argument against that statement, but who really knows?
