Please help with new M5140 3-point hitch

   / Please help with new M5140 3-point hitch #21
I know this is an old thread; however, every time I use my M5140 I become very frustrated with the lift height on this tractor. Surely, Kubota engineering thinks about lift height when designing new tractors. I have not checked the new Kubota's; but you can bet I will check this out before I buy another new tractor!

This is a common complaint with Kubota's. If you use the most forward pin location of the draft arms, that should help some. Also if you put the top link in the lowest of the pin locations, the implement gets lifted higher.

Other than those 2 things, I know of no easy way to help you out.

Many people get a hydraulic top link just for this reason. Retract the top link and you can gain plenty of clearance for moving around the property or even loading onto a trailer.
