Would it be possible to move threads but leave the title in the original forum with a note and link to where it's been moved and why?

Ohh it's possible, or at least it was on the last forum I moderated... But whether they'll do it or not is another question

We usually leave redirects that expire after a couple of days or 7 days if it's a longer thread.
