please post your diesel truck fuel milage

I think the HO/Auto came out mid 02 on the Dodges. The 48RE Auto is what its called. The first run of HO's where 305 hp 555 tq, now the numbers are 325/600. The 6 speed and auto both use the same engine ratings now. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have the H.O. w 6spd, 2001. You could not buy an H.O. in Ct or Mass for 02 and most of 03. The states allowed them again. That is probably why I wasn't aware of it.. they claim smog tests couldn't be passed. Funny hting is, CT still can't get a working smog test system in place..

hazmat - I didn't see your thread until after I started mine - Diesel truck starting to look more attractive - sorry about the duplication.

I came to the same conclusion you did. Since I don't do any heavy towing, I can't justify a diesel at this time (unless I come across a really good deal on a used one).
