Please questions concerning toothbars & designs

The FFC and the H&H toothbars have a "V" that the bars are attached to which covers the entire cutting edge it appears like it would stengthen the lead edge a lot as compared to the bars from most of the other manufacturers that weld their bars to a flat piece and them have a "V" on each tooth. Have any of the TBN'rs that have either type experienced any deforming of their bucket cutting edge or bucket as a result of using either type to lift or dig out rocks, stumps etc.? And do you consider the use and the removability of one type being better than the other and why? Please post your thoughts the Tractor is supposed to be ready to deliver on Tommorrow and I'd really like it to be complete.

Steve, my toothbar experience is limited to the last couple weeks. I've been digging in rocks and roots with a "non-V" bar. No deformation of the bucket so far...

Mine has the "Vee" on the teeth.
However, they're close enough together (6 or 7 inches), I don't think you'd see any deformation.

I too have the one like Roy's. I've been using the heck out of to do all kinds of jobs with no deformation noted anywhere.
I don't think there's that much difference in the displacement of load between the two types.

Thanks all for responding I talked to both and there ended up being only $50. between them in the heavy duty versions so I had my dealer order the one from H & H with the "V" bar hopefully it comes in quickly although the BTR grapple still didn't come in today so hopefully I'll have a seat next week and the toothbar the week after.
