hey there i know exactlly what you're talking about i ordered my new john deere 3320 last monday! after months of looking, testing, and finally demo-ing at my property two of what i considered to be the best tractors for me (a case dx35 and a john deere 3120) i made my decision to purchase a deere. i had alot of my friends over and we had a ball switching from one tractor to the other. after a few minutes on the case and then on the deere everyone agreed that the deere was the one they liked best for alot of reasons. my new deere won't be here until the first week of dec. i am in agony! i can't wait to dig a hole with the 448 backhoe and then fill it in with the cx300 loader and then smooth it out with the 6ft. box blade (not that i'll need it with the really great loader that deere has). so i really hope you like yours and just remember some of us have to wait a little longer to get ours and smile about it while you are using yours. have a great time.....larry

Okay, here's a tough question for you Deere lovers. I can probably get A-plan pricing on a Case or NH. According to my daughter, who would be the Ford employee who actually buys the thing, the average price is about 20% to 25% below list. If that was the case (no pun intended), would you have still gone green?

I'm thinking for the same bucks I can get more toys on the tractor by going with Case, but on the other hand ergonomics are one of the big reasons I'm moving up from my little Kubota B7100DT. My back is somewhat screwed up from doing too many big jobs without a tractor prior to getting the little 'bota and now the fit and balance of that make me a pretty stiff and sore guy after a long day of seat time. I had one Deere dealer more or less tell me that Deere ergonomics are the best in the business, bar none. Thoughts??

( I assume, Steven, that you'll hold off on your own bragging at least until after my 4720 arrives. )

I promise I will not brag for a long time. I will wait at least until Thanksgiving. After that all bets are off.

The factory lists it will be delivered to the dealer on the 24th, but since that is Thanksgiving I doubt I will end up with a driver that knows the tractor is more important than Thanksgiving. Figured probably a week after that day is when I might see it at my place. Arghhhh! Another week!

Now the 4720 is REALLY an incredible tractor. Part of the reason I waited the 5 months is I could not decide between the 3720 and 4720. It finally came down to the fact the 4720 would not fit in all the areas of the 150 year old barn and would not fit on the trailer that I already have. Plus there was that money thing where I would have to sell my blood for the next 4-5 years to help pay for the 4720. Make sure you follow proper etiquette and don't brag like some other people once you get it. Yeah right.

Dang. There you guys go again. Brag, brag, brag.

Think I need to file a complaint with the wife. I did not get a 448 or a box blade yet. Please excuse my drooling.

You may have to wait an extra week, but for those toys it will be well worth the wait.

If you need a place to store the 448 or box blade I can make room in my barn ...

Sounds like its going to be mighty green the Christmas. Congratulations!

Dealer called. 3720 & FEL & LX6 have arrived. Installing the cruise, block heater, iMatch, hooks on bucket, working lights and scheduled delivery for this Friday.

Now I just have to get out and buy ear muffs since it is suppose to snow on Friday with a high of 32. I'll be the guy who is blue from exposure on the green tractor with all the white stuff falling.

Which lights did you buy? How much and model numbers would be very cool.

You week is going to be awesome. I wanted some seat time on mine so I mowed in 24 degrees yesterday! Need to break out the carhart snow bibs.

Easy there. That's getting awfully close to bragging.

My dealer told me today that mine is "in transit" -- at least the tractor and loader are. The backhoe may be a few days behind it.

-- Counting the days.
