I have done some more experimenting with my 7500DT and 12" FarmStar plow. I set the depth stop on the three point to take the guess work out of it. It took some trial and error but I got a good compromise on depth, and was able to plow without near as many hangups. My ground has a considerable amount of clay which is most of the problem. I plow as fast as the tractor can so it throws the sod over better. When I had my old Massey 50 and two bottom I had a lot of trouble with sod flipping back over. But this little plow from TSC does a heck of a job on my bota when it isn't hanging the tractor. I should mention that hanging the tractor mostly occurs when breaking new ground. If I'm plowing ground that was worked the previous year I can cook right along. I still want a tiller, but I think now I'll keep my plow even if/when I get the tiller. Oh one more thing... the old Massey (MF-50) would get hung some too.
