Plow with tracks, or chains with snowblower?

Yup, looking at the 900XP in Sunset Red with EPS... or a Can Am outlander Max 1000xt. Tough choice.

If it's mostly for fun, seems like an easy choice .

If it's more for work, Ranger gets my vote.

Polaris; fits 3, possibly faster to plow (6' plow vrs 5'), can have a cab/ heat/ radio, cargo/ dump bed, more work

Polaris all the way, it was literally designed for 50/50 work. The can am is all play.

The nice thing is, your in a pretty sweet predicament to be in.

I don't think I agree that the Outlander's all play... it's their "sport ute" isn't it?

Oh yes, I'm sure I'd love either... playing with the Tracker today made me lean a little more on the Ranger side.... the Tracker's a hoot, and I'm sure the Ranger would be the same but 10x better.

It even crossed my mind to get the Can Am, and keep the Tracker... but then I'd want to put a locker in it, new tires, etc and it's still an old rig. Then I'd still need to keep it in the garage and my new bike in the shed...wich I don't want to...

I know it's way off from the original post, but had a look at the Yamaha Viking in person last weekend... I may have to consider it too. Not as much aftermarket as the Ranger, but $3K less, yamaha reliable, and a real front locker. I hear they may put a bigger engine in it next year that would make it more attractive...
