Plowed for the first time today.

Well, I hooked up that bottom plow to my tractor today.
Went over and plowed my dad's garden with it.
I left off one of the bottoms and only pulled single bottom.
Man alive that thing really plowed great.
And I ain't never pulled a plow before.
I had no idea how to adjust it or anything.
I just stuck it on the tractor and took off with it.
It was fantastic.

Oh, and I found what was left of a name sticker on it.
Only thing that could be read was "by Big Bee."
So I guess it is a Big Bee brand. 2x16

Welp, I'm done plowing for the year.
So now gotta palatize it and store it somewhere.

Just letting ya'll know how it went for me.

I didn't get any pictures while plowing. Sorry.
I wished I had. Maybe next time.
Gonna have to rototiller it all now.
Sure plowed deep. turned over a LOT of soil.

Bear now that the plow is more than likely polished from your plowing you might want to smear a little grease on the moldboard to keep it from rusting again. Just a real light coat will suffice.

How much area did you plow BTW?

Yep, gonna oil it good before storing it.

I plowed a plot of ground roughly 40x40 feet.
Not a lot, all that turning around was the hard part.

My snow plow got rubbed down to the metal. Used Rustoleum's Rust Reformer on it. It turns any rust (FeO) to iron sulfide. That plow hasn't rusted in more than 2 years.

NAPA has their version of it. Think it's called Rust Extender.

Better than grease or oil.
