What are your reasons for grooving the tires vs. Siping?
What is the tool that you used?

The groover I used is this one Amazon.com: Ideal Tire Groover: Automotive I also got a link in the description of the video.

Mostly I went with grooves first as I figured worst case I would need a combination of the 2, the grooves would affect the tread block the least, and was the quickest to do. I would want to do many sipes per tread block if I did, or just 1 tire groove. That and I saw another guy from this site just do gooves.

So far grooving has worked VERY well. I did have an issue with the snow pushing around the front end, but I acutely fixed that by going faster! all of the plowing was done in 2wd.
