Snow plowing snow with a FEL

Clear that snow with a RB....basically well, yes, because you could move it all with a shovel IF YOU HAD TO. LOL. In the 14 years I have lived in the country I have seen snow that deep at my place maybe three times total. Got six inches of fluffy stuff in mid-michigan today, not enough to get the JD out for, just used my ATV and plow.

You might look to get a bolt-on cutting edge for your bucket. When they wear down, you can flip it around and use the otherside. When thats gone, just replace the cutting edge. Its cheeper than a new bucket. All of our tractors at work have bolt-on edges, even the BX2200. Pavement eats edges. I think our Case 580 is on its second edge in two years.

I live up in the snow belt of Northwest michigan. We get about 150"+ a year so I will be moving a lot of lake effect stuff. I will work out the best way with the BX2230 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

exactly my point, with a shovel u would be picking it up and dumping it(same as with a fel) now take the same shovel and try pushing it all the way to the end of your drive way /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif used my rb today to move the 4 in we got last night. used the fel to clean up wher the town plows packed in the end of the drivway. life is grand. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
