I have one simple question: is it possible to plow with a tc 45 with turf tires (when the ground isn't to wet)

Turfs arent the best.. but then a 45 is a big tractor. it's all about traction. If you can pull the draft and not break traction you will be fine. Soil makeup, and type plow / number and size of bottoms will be the determining factor.

4 wheel drive helps a lot, and turf tires can be pretty sticky if the soil is right. Give it a try, you may be surprised!

If it spins too much....get a set of chains for the rear tires.

Single bottom? Even if it is a 16.. should do fine.

I agree with the others. Single-bottom you'll probably be OK, assuming the soil's not too soupy. I doubt if you'll make much headway with a two-bottom however as even with the industrials, I sometimes do some slipping with my 2-14". As one suggested, chains would help significantly. A little added weight in both front and back, if you don't already have it, would help too.

It was easy for my TC29D Hydro 4x4, and R4s to plow with a 2 - 14" plow.
