plows

Probably find an old scrapped plow and put the wheel on yours. Fabbing one and getting it to work correctly would be a nightmare.

Here is a photo of one if you want to try.

although for a 3 bottom, if its setup correctly it should need no such wheel.

I really like the toolbar for the plows on your set up. Simple and neat. Who makes that? I'm looking into building one for worked ground, turning in cover crops etc. Thanks.

Makes sense to me. I don't have draft on my tractor, I have to put position lever back to the same spot. It might be beneficial for this and other applications to have a stop you can move on position control. What are you pulling with?

That's a nice plow, GWDixon. Does the depth wheel assembly bolt to the extended landside on the third plow?

I have a Ford 101 just like GWDixons (of course not as pretty!). What depth wheel are you guys talking about? The wheel on the rear is a rolling landslide, that engages the wall of the cut furrow. It may help a little to control depth but also adds lateral stability. Depth ( in my opinion) is mainly controlled by the three point hitch position. Guess I don't see the need for a wheel and tire like on the other picture. Why do you need depth control? Or are you looking for or to fabricate a rolling landslide? When I restored my plow, I bought a new one (the rear landslide or "wheel") but it cost over $100. The plow would probably work adequately without it. Lots of plows don't have them.
