I've about 10 toilets to maintain. I mainly use fluidmaster fill valves and have become used to having to replace the seal about every two years or so. But I have one Korky also. I buy most of my plumbing stuff at Supply House online.
Now the fluidmaster valve replacements are just a piece of specially shaped rubber about the size of a quarter. I used to be able to get them for about $0.50 or less EACH, in a box of 10. The Korky only sold a full cap for about $2.
Well looks like Fluidmaster has decided to meet the competition, they now sell their little piece of rubber for $23.60 for a box of 10. While Korky is $2.21 each in a box of 12.
I know this is "just a little thing", but all these little things add up.
Any other suggested sources?
