Around here the Fernco brand is pretty popular. As far as lasting, it isn't an issue. I have dug them up that were very old. They looked like the day they went in the ground. Sun light is the killer of rubber. Proper back fill and support is important. Make sure there is good support under them so they can't shear off. The No-hub coupling is even better, as it has the SS band for support.
