Plump in Grapple on 5030

Thanks.. I like that idea.. I think I have the idea on how to run it but Do you know of a diagram I could look at ? .. Thanks

Here is how that valve works.

You have six ports.

You disconnect the hose going to the curl cyl and route those to the Pressure port on the solenoid valve.

Then you run some hoses from the A-B ports to the curl cyl.

Then you run some hoses from the C-D ports to the grapple cyl.

Then add a switch to the joystick to control the grapple.

With no voltage, the curl is functional using the joystick.

With voltage to the solenoid, the grapple is functional using the joystick.

I don't have rear remotes

Well that solves that,
The diverter valve that JJ pointed out is going to be your cheapest and easiest to implement.
Your first step is figuring out where you are going to mount the diverter valve. and then take some electrical cord/ or small garden hose and start "fitting" your hose routes to figure out how long of hoses to order. Order the hoses and adapters, hook up the simple electrical connections, and you are in business.

Nothing wrong running hose from the rear to the front. I routed mine in the factory sleeving and most would be hard pressed to even notice it, and I retain all my functions while needing to grapple at the same time which would be an issue for me to lose. Since he doesn't have remotes that would be the next cheapest option for sure. Make sure you fuse your power lead by the way.

How does that work with 2 solenoids ? ..Do I just use one ? That one looks tougher, The other with the plastic cap I was not so sure about .. Thanks

There is a solenoid for each set of ports. The voltage causes the solenoids to switch ports. The switch will select circuit 1 or circuit 2.

Once wired up correctly, you select the curl circuit or the grapple circuit. , and then the joystick does the work. .
