For A plate try atvpress on ebay . very heavy duty, fairly reasonable price. Mine came from there. It will almost double the usefullness of the tractor. Put on a box blade or rake and groom a steep bank. middle buster for roots.I use a carryall on the front to load hay in the barn . or to use as a workbench when working high up, fit with a railing for a scaffold (I know). The uses are as endless as your imagination. I think a very worthwhile investment.

Thanks for the tip, but I couldn't find them.
Could you please check the spelling ? I was searching for "atvpress" and a few one letter changes on that.
It tends towards atv items and tv items - on the assumption that I type badly, which is true, but irrelevant in this case (-:

I found this too;
Skid Steer Attachments Pallet Forks Hay Spears Bobcat Cat John Deere Mount Plate

I have written to them asking if/how the lift arms can be locked once an implement is attached.
Anyone here use this adapter ?
Care to comment on it ?

BTW, things like this keep the implement parallel to the tractor, which is also generally true when it is behind the tractor on the 3PH.
I have found it "useful" to replace my fixed lift rod and crank adjustable lift rod with chains for some implements.
I think I wouldn't be able to do that on the front with an adapter plate.
Maybe a minor thing, but worth bearing in mind.

Hey,
I wish you a speedy recovery.
It set me off on a bigger search - mixed blessing (-:
If that is Lasik, please report back.
My golf drive isn't getting shorter as fast as my eyesight is, so it would be NICE to find a ball once in a while.

It turns out that they expect the top link to hold implements from shifting sideways - not using MY hydraulic link for THAT.
They suggested drilling a hole where I find I need it and putting a pin in (HACK !).
It comes drilled for Cat 2, but they don't provide the Cat 1 bushings; no problem, maybe $5 for all 3.

I'll keep looking, might go back there and try to brew up some sort of a clamp (2) to go around the square tube that the lift arms run on. Maybe.

Reg.I didn't have Lasik, but my daughter did recently. She's ecstatic about the results.I know a few other people including my eye doctor who have had it and no complaints. I was too far gone and needed lens implants .I see better every day and should be good in a couple of more days. In my next life I want to have good eyesight instead of being beautiful:D ....I'm sure you'll find a solution to that adapter problem.

I've thought of this before, seems it would work well for taking a scoop or two or digging up a rock etc. On a longer trench it seems it would be painfully slow since you have to manuever the machine in order to dump the bucket to the side, then move again, line up and take another scoop. Still beats a shovel I bet. Let us know how it works for you. Thanks for posting.

I think the skid steer to 3pt adapter just presents a whole bunch of opportunities.
Hooking up TWO 3ph attachments and "going down to the back 40" with them to alternate between, whatever they are, just SEEMS so useful that I want that capacity.
Maybe BOTH attachments would work better on the back, that is where they were designed for, but if/when you need/want to use both the shortcomings of having one of them on the front would be OK.

I guess an obvious one for me would be to leave the hoe on the back and STILL have 3ph capability.
It is the biggest hook-up hassle of everything I have, not THAT bad, just the worst of the bunch (-:
I haven't thought through the actual combinations I would use, I just want the capacity.

If you (like me) don't actually HAVE a "back 40" it could still be useful, say if you do outside work and trailer your tractor and attachments around.

I built this for my Case 1816 last year. It works very well for its size. Even straight line digging goes well. It makes a mess though because of moving the wheels from side to side constantly and pulling back (no stabilizers).
