Our local Polaris/Deere dealer gave us a call today saying that they had gotten in the 6x6 Ranger we had asked about with the toolbox already on it. As soon as I got in the door he threw me the keys and had me take her around to where there was light. I stuck the thing in low range not wanting to make a bad impression by going to fast, and that thing was SLOW! I would love to have that for heavy work. Then I stuck it in high, but I couldn't get up to more than about 25 due to space, but it got me up there fast and easy. It moved my dad and I (about 500lbs together) and it moved us just fine. There were a few things I didn't like about it compared to others I have driven. The others I have been around/driven were the RTV 900, Rhino 660, older gasoline 6x4 Gator, and many many golf carts. This, from the small chance I had to drive, beat them in almost all aspects. The things I didn't like were-

-The digital readout for what gear you are in (H, L, N, R), where I think it shouldn't be that electronic, maybe just a light. Not a big issue though, just more stuff to go wrong.

-It had the lables for the different gears on the shifter, just carved in the vinyl covering, which isn't good for night operation, again, not a big deal.

-It also ripped a little on sharp turns in the gravel, so it wouldn't be too got for the landscaper.

But that's about it. I really liked it, and these disadvantages really wouldn't keep me from buying it. I can take almost any question to him or I may know the answer if you have one.

The shifter set up is the same as my Sportsman. After you run it a bit you will now what gear you are in by feel. I never look at the readout or the shifter knob to know what gear I am in.

Yea, it wasn't very hard, I changed through all of it by feel after about 10 minutes, it's just something to think about.
