I am struggling: Polaris XP 1000 Crew or the CF Moto XL 1000. Beyond the price dif, I want to like the Polaris better but just seem to keep coming back to the CF Moto.If its apples to apples, go with the lower cost. Any thoughts?

That's a big factor. While Polaris is "made in America", how much is made somewhere else (China) and assembled here?

Polaris has a highly focused US-based supply chain for its manufacturing. Its side-by-sides are assembled in Roseau, Minnesota, with many of the components USA-sourced as well. There’s a good reason for the centralized model. Polaris holds many US government contracts, from local law enforcement agencies, departments of transportation, and military solicitations. Each requires by law a product built and assembled in the United States. This helps avoid sending your tax dollars overseas.

Polaris. Rock solid build. I just bought one.

CF Moto's have their fans, but there's no way I'm spending that kind of $, and sending it to China.

I don't know about the utility models, but comparing a Polaris RZR1000 to my CF Moto Z-Force 950 HO EX this is what I can say after running both back to back.
1. The Polaris has slightly more power. I can stay right behind the RZR but can't pass it.
2. My CF engine is way more quiet than a Polaris and puts less heat into the cockpit.
3. Polaris has more plush suspension and a smoother engaging clutch.
4. CF wins in value by far. Mine came standard with roof panel, doors, mirrors, horn, turn signals, winch with remote, bluetooth, etc and was thousand less.
5. CF has a 5 year warranty. One year bumper to bumper, 4 year powertrain with option to buy B to B for the full 5 years no mileage restriction.

My Polaris/CF dealer tells me he actually has more Polaris's coming back in for repairs than CF's.
he is also on some board with Polaris and he told me Polaris has a couple CF's at the factory right now trying to break them and they can't. And he says they are very afraid because they said they cannot build one with same qualities and features for CF's prices.

Yes, there is the "China" thing, but guess what.....I'm buying from whoever is not taking all my money and giving me a quality machine for reasonable prices.

Take ANY of your US or Canadian built machines.....even Caterpillar and have a look at all the parts stamped "made in China"

One thing that is odd with CF.....Canadian models come with turn signals but US models don't? At least last time I looked.
And in Canada we have the U-Force U10 Highland that has a fully loaded cab with heat and air conditioning and power windows. For well over ten thousand less than a comparable Polaris or Can Am.

Big thing is, try both and see what you are more comfortable in. I own both CF and Polaris. I prefer the CF for engine sound and more leg and foot room.

Can't speak for CF Moto (never tried one).
We have a 2016 Polaris RZR 900s that we have been pretty happy with. (currently has 13,400 miles)
