Well my 5 year old Polaris 325 2x4 Magnum decided to spring an oil leak. Gave her the look over and see that the oil cooler or lines running to the cooler are dripping oil. I thought that getting to this area really looks like a PITA so I loaded her up and took it to a new dealer in the area. BIG mistake. The people were clueless and I waited a week and got nothing but the run around. So when I called them today and they still did not have it fixed I told them I would be there to pick it up. When I arrived they claimed that the parts came in and went ahead and fixed it. They replaced one of the lines and claimed the other came in wrong but said it looked good and was fixed. So I get home and wanted to take a ride. I backed out of the truck and went to grab the son and go for a ride when I started to smell burning rubber. I shut her down and saw that the line they replaced was up against the exhaust just melting away. The line is not the one for my machine. The fittings are 90's rather than straights and there is no way for the line to stay away from the exhaust. If I would have gone for that ride that line could have melted and gave the ehaust a good bath of oil. So I am stuck. The 4 dollar employee that did the work should be smacked. I hate being stuck in this spot. Time to call the owner and see if he is as dumb as his employees. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
