Really a nice looking barn!!!!

I wish I had added a lean-too on my existing pole barn shed. I really adds a lot of space and makes it easy to get into and out of lean-too for attachments, storage ect. We added a one to my brother's pole barn shed and it adds a lot of flexibility for big equipment that makes it difficult to store and work around in his main shed. Lean-too is a nice place to store equipment that is not used frequently but still needs to be stored out of bad weather.

Finally getting around to obtaining bids for concrete. Sticker shock I must say. I plan on having the following done:
40 X 50 interior of the barn
12 X 10 drive out the front
9 X 10 drive out the east side under the lean-to
The concrete will be 5" thick, 4000 psi. Both would get area level and put down rock.
I have obtained the following bids:

8K and this flatworker would use heavy steel mats in the concrete. This guy did all my concrete at my current house and I was very happy.

9K from another who would use steel rebar on 2' centers.

These prices seem fair?

Both recommended going with 5" due to the barn sitting out all by itself. I will have my Mahindra 3215 parked inside the barn and some woodworking equipment and all sorts of other things. Nothing that I can think of weighing over 4 - 5 k lbs.

Thanks for sharing pics of your building. What type of insulation/vapor barrier did they put up? I live in an area that can see cold temps too and was wondering what your builder used and what they charged you to install.
