Pole saw-Husqvarna or Stihl?

I'd buy the Stihl because I have had one for several years and it works great, and has been used extensively for pruning 800 walnut trees, plus many oaks that need pruning annually prior to April 1.
But, for the few trees you have, I would think the Husky would do the job too. I suspect it would even do the job I have used the Stihl for, but I just prefer the Stihl line and would lean that direction.
I fully believe one gets what they pay for, and hope you make the right decision for you and your needs.

personally, stihl is my brand of choice... but echo, husky, red line,and shindaiwa are great also, and i would not mind owning any of them.

The which is better (Ford/GM, Stihl/Husqvarna, Gear/hydro and anything related to syn oils) will baffle all mankind for years to come.

Personally, I just pick which "feels right" for my needs and couple that with price. May the best "thing" win.

I have had that model Sthil pole saw for three years and it has been a great saw, it always creates lots of limb draggin and not one problem out of the saw.
