Poll..... Mow with bucket on or off?

I have always bush hogged with the FEL on for counter weight, but I may try it without now that I have a set of weights for the front of the tractor.

I take the QA bucket off for finish mowing around the yard. Always leave it on and down low for rotary cutting the trails and fencelines. Comes in handy for knocking down overhanging branches.

Quick attach bucket comes off, loader itself stays on.

take it off. who wants top put up with the rattle and excessive noise. And the tractor maneuvers around obstacles better without the additional length.

Ive only removed loader 3 times last year. first time took about an hour cause i was unsure how to do it. The last time it took 15 minutes.

I keep mine on all the time. If I took it off, I would need somewhere to keep it out of the weather and I usually need it for something on a daily basis. If mowing next to the fence line, I just raise it above the post and my line of sight and go a bit slower to maneuver in and under the fence just dodging out for the post since my BH is a bit wider than my tractor, I can mow under the fence a bit so it stays cleaner. I places where I can use it, I take my ZTR mower and mow the fence lines on each side to keep them clean as it is much more maneuverable around the post.

I bought my Boomer 8N without a FEL to mow, much easier to manuveur around trees and fences. The TC40DA with FEL does ride better with the extra weight. I added 200 pounds of weights to the Boomer 8N to help balance the 6' cutter and will probably add 300 pounds more this year to help the ride.
