I'd rate it a 9.9. I've got a 2008 BX24 with about 550 hours. Most of that as a trackless train engine. I pull three coaches with up to ten people in each (about 1300 lbs each) up and down paved street hills as well as flat ground.
That train cowling is too cool Wayne.:thumbsup: You need some double airhorns for street crossings though.
I LUV my HST transmission and especially the electrical rabbit/turtle switches that change the swashplate angle in the hydraulic motor in addition to the swashplate angle change of the pump controlled by the pedals. Being able to change "gears" with the press of a button is the cat's meow.:thumbsup:
EDIT: I rate the transmission as an 8. When they come up with an HST transmission that can have a mechanical lockup in three ranges for when you need full torque, that will be a 10. My tractor has a direct passthrough to the PTO drivegear, so I know this is possible. A tractor that has both HST and gear drive would cost more, but I'd bet many of us would be willing to pop for a couple thousand more for that capability.
