Pond liner coming up

found my pond liner up about 4 inches on one end just yesterday. I did not have it full as it had to be cleaned out and heavy rains at that time may have done this.

will it go back down, I dont want to pull up all the surrounding decorations to put it back down

From the pictures the low end is end with ledge rock. What may have happened is the rock settled and pulled that end of the pond down. You may be able to pick up the high end a little and pull some dirt out so it will set level.
No I do not think it will level on its own. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

We had a very heavy rain storm the day before this happened. I had cleaned out the pond and only filled it partially full. With the rain we had, I was guessing that the water level UNDER the thing pushed it up........and hoping that too. I could see the settling thing if it had been gradual, but it was all at once.

I am going to give it a week or so, I filled it back up so we will see. if not, take it out and may go with a liner this time.

Your liner has floated out. This happens even with swimming pools if left empty and the ground gets very water-logged.

I suspect you'll have to dig out and remove the pond liner. Dig out where it is and put it back in. Fill it up ASAP. Otherwise, it'll float again.
