And yes some customers will find a kind way to mention that xyz is less. But I explain that I cant buy in large quantities like they do but I can however explain that I offer service, parts for the locks I sell, and years of experience in giving you the right product for the right application. BTW if I can save my customer a buck or two I will tell them how. I pride myself on treating my customers right and not ripping them off. I sleep very well at night because of it.

I totally agree with both points here. I just wanted to point out that this happens often and sometimes an employee or owner in my case looses it from time to time and gives it back to the customer. Its not right but it happens. I had a customer call me every name in the book because I couldn't get to him today but I kept my cool and treated him with respect and kindness, had this happened a few days earlier when I was having the most horrible day ever I may have tore him a new a**h*** right there. Everyone has a breaking point maybe she hit hers that day or maybe she is just a b****. Oh well

The crappy thing there is if you jump on the customer, all the people the customer tells will only hear the customer's side of the story.

If a customer is a prick and the shop sets the customer straight, when the customer is telling the whole world about how bad the shop is... the customer fails to mention that he was a prick to the shop.

Boy... re-reading my posts have reminded me how these posts can really deviate from the original issue.

I am in no way trying to imply the OP was a bad customer... but is sure sounds like it after reading all of these posts!

And here I thought I had the only BAD dealer service. I hope this isn't a trend for Massey. They already are outnumbered in dealers across the US. Let's not make it any worse people.

Even by Mahindra? shoot I thought I had the worst dealer. Still do. And filters? shoot if I remember correctly one of my filters is nearly 40 bucks.
Lets see a 40 dollar filter and a bad dealer. Hows that for a combo?
Now my question is do the mahindra oil system have a bypass like cars do so when the oil is cold it bypasses the filter altogether? you know, like cars do?

Call the dealer and see if they can mail the filter to you. I have several customers who live 100 plus hrs away and as a favor to them i ups several parts to them. It cost alittle more but they dont have to drive and they know they will get the right parts. They have been using me for awhile and im hoping it was based on customer service and tech. service.

It is nice to know there are still dealers like yourself who can actually take the time to ship items. Im looking for a mahindra dealer like that.. Mine just lies to me.

Actually, you don't know how she reacted and neither do I. The OP could have been rude or over reacted. Just because he's a TBN member doesn't mean he was in the right. Again, I wasn't there...
This is one of those times you should just shrug things off...

I know what your saying and it true. I do and have my employees bite there tounge just because i know the customer will need us oneday, and the fact is (If you have a happy customer he will tell a friend but if you have an unhappy customer he will tell 20 friends and so on.)

Right on the money. BTW, I thought the Kioti filter was expensive at $65.
