I go through there every time I go to St. Louis. And I hate it every time because there isn't a real bypass around town.

No it isn't and now they have all that construction going on 40 and the bypass. It's all a big mess right now.

Went thru there last week on 40, wasnt bad at all..

I come in on South US 45 and go out on North US 412 so I only go over the bridge at I 40. Once I get out of town, I can make good time again.
