Portable Generator/Black Friday Deal

I bought generator from Sam’s a couple of years ago for work. It was Chinese clone that ranks great from 6 to 8 hours a day for a couple of months. I could not get parts when carburetor cracked. I eventually was given new machine under warranty. Machine was sent to another job and I have not seen it since

How long was the warranty?

I think the warranty was for a year.
I took the machine to authorized repair site. After a couple of weeks of trying to get correct parts , a new generator was shipped to me. The repair shop told me that Chinese manufacturers switch suppliers without changing models so parts are hit and miss

I checked and generator is still running , used infrequently for maintenance at airports

AND there lies the problem!!

I keep hearing the same thing over and over, they are pretty much throw a way's, unless you get LUCKY and get a good one...
