The problem with horses is that they continue to look for new and inventive ways of getting hurt. If you have more then one, then they'll both climb in the trailer and at some point they'll get in a tangle over something. A 10'x10' enclosure is the minimum I'd let them have. A 12' x 12' is better. You need to look for anything and everything they could get hurt on.
